House of Worship AV Installations

St. Patrick’s Cathedral

When New York City’s historic St. Patrick’s Cathedral required a major upgrade to its AV system, Masque Sound’s AV installations division answered the call, providing a complete custom audio equipment and installation package for one of the country’s most recognizable and visited houses of worship. The construction team faced several challenges with this project. Chief among these was maintaining the historic structure while routing the cable for the infrastructure. “Whenever you get a chance to work on a project that involves such a historic and recognizable building as St. Patrick’s Cathedral, it is an honor and a privilege,” adds Peskie. “We couldn’t be more pleased with the end result of the new system.”

Congregation Beit Simchat Torah (CBST)

This new synagogue in NYC received a top notch AV system that allows for ultimate flexibility and configuration. The main sanctuary speaker system is made up of d&b and Meyer Sound speakers, while the chapel and classrooms utilize ceiling speakers and Symetrix ARC remotes.  The addition of a hearing loop allows for those with hearing aids to enjoy all services at CBST as well. Masque Sound was honored to offer house of worship AV installations services to CBST.

Central Synagogue

Major upgrades to the enhancement and reinforcement were conducted in 2015 by Masque’s house of worship AV installations team. Those included complete and through maintenance of the enhancement speaker system and installation of new d&b speakers and amplifiers for he reinforcement system.  A new RF system was also installed complimented by the new Yamaha CL3 console.

St. Bartholomew’s Church

St. Bartholomew’s Church is a New York City historical landmark, with the present location serving Manhattan since 1918. In November of 2009, Masque Sound was approached to install an updated sound system designed by Anthony Nittoli of Akustics. Dennis Durney, Director of Facilities, states that Masque was “cooperative and flexible in their approach of wiring and working around our schedule. Your organization is the best contract service group I have had the pleasure of working with.”

First Church of Christ Scientist

With a fully operational system installed the First Church of Christ Science was having some issues with gain before feedback. Masque Sound’s house of worship AV installations team was brought in to consult and provide expedient, effective solutions. With an overhaul of the Symetrix DSP programming and retuning of the system, significant more gain was able to be achieved in the system.
