Computer Technician
Duties and Responsibilities
- Serve existing clients with technical support for any computer/network-related problems
- Prepare computers with the necessary software, drivers, and IP structure for clients based on the show bid list and preference
- Keep documentation on shows as far as IP schemes, programs installed, and other relevant materials
- Test and maintain all computers and related items (including network switches, KVMs, etc.)
- Document service and installation actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records using in-house inventory software.
- Handle all plug-in-related needs for clients, including those needed in consoles and computers
- Prep and test computers, switches, and interfaces with the RF and AP departments
- Build, maintain, and test any computer-related kit and/or kitted Masque Sound assets
- Be available for possible Service Calls for computer-related problems
- Email any requests for parts or items to appropriate parties
- Perform other repairs and service in the Technical Department, perform any other duties as assigned in other shop departments.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Four years’ experience in live audio production or a bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Proficient computer skills (Mac and PC)
- Strong technical audio skills
- Understanding of IP/Subnet settings
- Understanding of managed switch types and configurations
- Audinate Dante (Audio over IP) Level 2 Certification
- Able to lift 50lbs and be on feet for an extended period.
Pay and Benefits
- Hour wage $34.54 ($42.48 with Medical and Annuity described below)
- Potential additional compensation commensurate with experience
- 15% of gross wages to Medical Benefits
- 8% of gross wages to Annuity
- 4% deducted to pay Union fees
- $15.00 per day Pension Contribution
- 6 sick Days, 4 floating Holidays, and Vacation

Shipping / Delivery Driver
A reliable, punctual, and highly motivated individual is needed to join the team at Masque Sound and Recording, a progressive audio rentals and installations facility located in southwestern Bergen County. Primary duties include shipping and driving (cargo van, 16′ & 24′ truck), with secondary responsibilities as needed and assigned.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Driving various vehicles, including cargo vans,16’ &24’ trucks in a crowded city environment
- Maintaining clean and organized shipping and loading dock area
- Loading and unloading trucks and vans
- Handling and operating necessary tools and accessories in maintaining a warehouse
- Additional as-needed duties in the warehouse/receiving/inventory dept.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Class “B” CDL License
- Knowledge of current DOT requirements
- Extensive experience driving trucks and vans in a crowded city environment
- Clean driver’s license
- Must have a current DOT medical card and must maintain said card in good standing.
- Periodic drug testing required
- Driver must have strong interpersonal skills to maintain good relationships with clients
- Dispatch/delivery scheduling experience
- Proficient computer skills, Word, Excel (FedEx software experience a plus)
- Proficient in English
- Able to lift 75lbs and be on feet for an extended period.
- Must be available to work nights and weekends with little notice.
Preferences
- Knowledge of the Tristate area roadways and NYC streets
Pay and Benefits
