RF Technician
Masque Sound, a leading provider of professional sound reinforcement is seeking an experienced RF Technician to join our New Jersey team.
This role supports RF systems across Broadway and regional theater, tours, and more including broadcast, sports, and fashion. You will be working with current systems deployed in high-profile, RF-dense environments – involving complex RF coordination – where reliability and precision are critical.
Masque Sound is known for expertise, dependability, and long-standing relationships with clients, and top manufacturers including Shure, Sennheiser, Clear-Com and Lectrosonics. Our technical department operates collaboratively, with a strong emphasis on quality, professionalism, and supporting one another.
What You’ll Be Doing:
• Troubleshoot RF and audio during builds and while shows are live
• Working primarily out of our north NJ shop, occasional remote or on-site, as needed
• Provide field support for touring systems as required, sometimes on short notice
• Test, evaluate, and maintain RF equipment on an ongoing basis
• Diagnose and document equipment issues, coordinate repair workflows
• Manage firmware, updates, and configuration integrity across deployed systems
• Aligning with a supportive, seasoned tech team with a strong industry reputation
• Assist with broader technical, warehouse, and support operations as needed
What You Bring:
• Working knowledge of RF systems in professional live production environments
• Proven ability to troubleshoot RF issues effectively in real-world conditions
• Experience with standard platforms (Shure, Lectro, Sennheiser, Clear-Com, Telex, and Riedel)
• Experience with test/measurement tools (IFR, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, multimeters)
• Strong organizational and communication skills in fast-paced environments
• Equivalent technical experience or degree in electrical engineering preferred

Schedule
• Monday–Friday, 8:15 AM – 4:45 PM
• Occasional extended hours or on-site support based on production needs
