These Masque Sound microphone comparators are rugged, handheld units that allow quick testing of microphones used with various wireless transmitters. Testing is accomplished by comparing a known good microphone to a suspect microphone. The MTB-51B2 supports microphones terminated for Sennheiser SK50/5012, Sennheiser Evolution. Simply pressing the Compare button turns on power and switches output between the two microphones. The signal is output through a balanced XLR connector and a 1/4 inch headphone jack. Battery power is conserved because the unit automatically shuts off after 30 seconds of inactivity. These comparators are powered by two 9 volt batteries. Stop throwing away good mics!
